老年大学学员主体及其要求的变化,老年大学办学内涵和外延的拓展,社会转型对老年大学产生的深刻影响,决定了老年大学转型发展是历史的必然。老年大学转型的方向,应遵循“创新、协调、绿色、开放、共享”五大发展理念,确定规范化、现代化、法制化、社会化、政治化“五化”发展方向。老年大学转型定位,从老年人角度定位:老年大学应是老有所学的殿堂、文化养老的乐园、精神追求的天地、再社会化的桥梁;从社会角度定位:老年大学是思想引领的高地、社会治理的平台、智力支持的智库、正能量的辐射源。老年大学转型的路径:形成理论共识,实现理念转型;开拓工作领域,实现功能转型;理顺体制机制,实现模式转型;推进规范化建设,实现管理转型;推进现代化建设,实现手段转型;推进工作队伍建设,实现素质转型。
