唐代以前,由于海上贸易不发达,对外贸易和交流主要来自于陆路,历代中央王朝都未设置专门的航海贸易管理机构,航海贸易诸事务皆交由沿海诸州郡地方长官兼任。唐代,随着海上贸易的显著发展,始设置市舶使负责管理航海贸易事务。唐代中后期,市舶长官多由岭南地方长官担任。由于海外贸易事务长期由地方官兼理,官员的廉洁与贪腐常常对贸易的消长有重要的影响。本文拟对岭南节度使的廉贪对海上贸易的影响做一分析。有不正之处,请方家指正。 Before the Tang Dynasty, due to the underdevelopment of the maritime trade, the foreign trade and exchange mainly came from the land.
