落叶松尺蠖是落叶松的主要害虫之一.我县五道川公社十八号大队四队前山19年生落叶松人工林,树高8米,平均胸径12厘米,郁闭度0.7。1981年开始发生落叶松尺蠖,每株有虫200～300条,到1982年6月中旬调查,平均每株有虫达1500～3000条,200亩松林有55％的针叶被吃光。为控制害虫继续蔓延,当时采用地面超低容量喷雾进行防治,由于防治时间过晚,加之林木较高着药不均,致使防治效果不太理想。
