深远的幽思、丰富的想象,富有绘画性,是郑敏诗作的重要特征。郑敏在运用写实的手法时,更多是从鲜明的、具体的形象中,概括、提炼、升华出具有相当深度的思想,让感性形象呈现出知性的光芒;而当她运用写意的手法时,则在丰富瑰丽的想象中加入理性的思考,使感性和理性熔于一炉。因此,也可以这样说,郑敏的想象是感性和理性之星交相辉映的、美丽而辽阔的天空。晚年的郑敏,她的诗除了仍然保持其“风格典雅而洗练”、“爱好冥想”、“有极丰富的想象力”的特点外,在思想内涵上具有更深邃、更睿智的哲思,境界更为开阔;在艺术上更为圆熟。她无论是在创作上还是在理论上,都显示了深厚的知性与语言的功力,做到深入浅出,寓深奥于平易之中。
