小句级阶上的概念语法隐喻指通常由一种过程类型表征的经验用另外一种过程类型表征时产生的隐喻,隐喻式小句是小句级阶上概念语法隐喻的具体体现。本文考察了BNC语料库中的隐喻式小句,旨在找出不同种类隐喻式小句中的动词类型及高频动词。结果发现:隐喻式物质小句中的动词有:“操纵物体”类动词有assail、seize、grip、hold、strike、clutch、catch;“运动”类动词come、go、enter、reach、creep;“传递”类动词give和take;隐喻式心理小句中的动词有see、witness、find和discover;隐喻式关系小句中的动词有have、possess和be+in。在此基础上,本文揭示了这些动词可以用在隐喻式小句中充当过程的动因。 The conceptual grammatical metaphor of the sentence hierarchy refers to the metaphor that is generated when the experience usually represented by one process type is represented by another type of process and the metaphorical clause is the concrete manifestation of the conceptual grammatical metaphor of the clause level. This article examines the metaphorical clauses in the BNC corpus to find out verbs and high-frequency verbs in different kinds of metaphorical clauses. The results showed that the verbs in the metaphorical material clauses are as follows: “manipulate objects ” verbs have assail, seize, grip, hold, strike, clutch, catch; , Creep; “verb ” verbs give and take; verbs in metaphorical psychic have see, witness, find, and discover; verbs in metaphorical clauses have, possess, and be + in. On this basis, this paper reveals that these verbs can be used as the motivation for the process in metaphorical clauses.
