引言几年来,晶体管作为一种逻辑开关器件非常盛行。晶体管具有增益高、速度快、逻辑灵活、价格低以及体积小等一系列的性能,因而晶体管获得了广泛的应用。虽然1958年隧道二极管的出现预示了它是下一代计算机的开关器件,但是当了解了容差问题以后,人们对它的兴趣大大降低。一些研究者指出,单级隧道二极管线路的逻辑增益很低而容差要求很严,因此这种线路对于通用计算机逻辑来说价值很小,甚至毫无价值。
Introduction In recent years, transistors as a logic switching device is very popular. Transistors have a wide range of performance, high gain, fast speed, logic flexibility, low price and small size, and so the transistor has been widely used. Although the appearance of a tunnel diode in 1958 indicates that it is the switching device for the next generation of computers, interest in it has been greatly diminished when tolerance problems are understood. Some researchers have pointed out that the logic gain of single-stage tunnel diode lines is very low and tolerances are very strict, so that such lines are of little or no value to general-purpose computer logic.
