无线分组交换正将成为未来移动通信的重要技术之一。事实上 ,分组话音充分利用话音的启毕 (on- off)特性能有效地提高带宽利用率。这一特性的应用最早体现在分组预约多址 (PRMA)协议中。本文提出了一种改进的基于 PRMA的数话综合 ,同样适用于无线 ATM环境的多址协议。数值结果显示 CR- PRMA具有比 PRMA及其变种更好的性能。值得指出的是 ,CR- PRMA的数据预约机制可移植到 PRMA的各变种中来提高系统整体性能。
Wireless packet switching is becoming one of the important technologies for future mobile communications. In fact, packet voice makes full use of voice on-off characteristics can effectively improve bandwidth utilization. The earliest application of this feature is reflected in the packet reservation multiple access (PRMA) protocol. This paper presents an improved PRMA-based digital synthesis that is also applicable to multiple-access protocols in wireless ATM environments. Numerical results show that CR-PRMA has better performance than PRMA and its variants. It is worth noting that the data reservation mechanism of CR-PRMA can be transplanted into various variants of PRMA to improve overall system performance.
