气体压力控制器(见附图)是工程机械行走制动系统中用来控制行车制动,使气压保持在0.70MPa,以满足行车制动要求的部件。如果压力控制器的气压小于0.65MPa,行车制动时摩擦片就不能与制动盘很好地接触,导致制动距离过长,制动效能下降或失效;如果压力大于0.70MPa,摩擦片就很容易与制动盘抱死烧坏,导致制动距离过短,轮胎严重磨损,甚至正常制动时也出现“紧急制动”现象,严重时还会使驾驶员从驾驶室前窗甩出,造成重大事故,所以对压力控制器的使用与维护绝不能忽视。
