This article explores the genetic variation of parasites from the ecological point of view of the interaction between parasites and their hosts. Recent studies on Echinococcus, Giardia and Cryptosporidium show that the proposed parasite variability and species identification help to understand the complex relationship between parasites and hosts; to answer the relationship between humans and animals and its dangers Factors such as the need to accurately understand the characteristics of parasites and the use of molecular techniques to study its spread; at present, the interspecific and intraspecific genetic heterogeneity in parasites and host interactions and their impact on evolution and infection is poorly understood.
