诸多《诗经》译注著作对《秦风·车邻》“寺人之令”的解释不尽相同，究其原因是有些学者忽略了一条重要的语法现象──宾语前置例。宾语前置例除了以“之” 为标志的句型外，还有以“不”、“无”、“莫”、“是” 为标志的句型，我们在实际应用中应该特别加以注意。
