诱发突变是作物改良的一种重要手段。作者用Υ射线和甲基磺酸乙酯(EMS)对两个绿豆品种“ML-5”和“K-851“进行单一处理和复合处理,以诱发绿豆的有用突变。(1)对绿豆种子进行20kR、30kR、40kR和50kR的钴-60Υ射线辐照处理;(2)绿豆种子先在水中浸2小时,然后用EMS水溶液(0.2%和0.4%的浓度)处理6和12小时,处理完毕,用水洗涤种子,并把种子放在吸水纸上吸干水分;(3)对经20、30、40和50kRΥ射线辐照处理的种子,再用02%的EMS水溶液浸6小时,后处理同于EMS单一处理。各处理种子均为300颗,重复三次,随机区组设计种植成M_1代,成熟时单株收获种子。M_2代按株行法
Mutagenesis is an important tool for crop improvement.
