如果说影响学业成败的两方面因素中注意力、观察力、记忆力、思维力(特别是抽象思维能力)等智力因素是学生学习活动过程的操作系统的话,那么动机、情感、意志、性格等非智力因素则是激发、维持活动持续进行的动力系统。很难想象缺失了其中之一的学习活动,尤其是外语学习活动。其实非智力因素对学生学业成败的影响,已不是理论上是否承认或对其重要性的确认的问题,而是在实际的教学情境中如何驾驭并使之发挥尽可能多的功效的问题。本文试图结合教学实践论述其作用及其发挥作用的途径与方式。

It is hard to imagine the lack of one of the learning activities, especially foreign language learning activities. In fact, the impact of non-intellectual factors on the success or failure of a student’s academic progress is no longer a question of whether to admit or confirm its importance theoretically, but rather how to manage and exert as much effectiveness as possible in actual teaching situations. This article attempts to discuss its function and its ways and ways of playing a role in combination with teaching practice.
