聂友军博士的大著《日本学研究的“异域之眼”》(北京大学出版社,2017年),以19世纪70年代到20世纪20年代前后50年间一批旅日欧美学者组成的“日本亚洲学会”及其编刊的《日本亚洲学会学刊》(TASJ)作为研究对象,检讨了这半个世纪中这一“学者组合”的知识状态,以及他们表述的关于日本列岛文化与文明形成与发展的多元见解。依我的感知,这是我国人文学者在国际日本学研究领域中第一次把握 Dr. Nie You-jun’s “The Eye of a Foreign Field of Japanese Studies” (Peking University Press, 2017), a group of Japanese-European and American scholars from the 1870s to the 1950s The Japan Society of Asia and the Japan Academic Journal of Japan (TASJ) as a research object review the knowledge status of this “scholarly combination” in the past half century as well as their statements about Multiple Views on the Formation and Development of Japanese Archipelago Culture and Civilization.
