翻译工作在我国“四化”建设事业中所起的作用是不言而喻的。新中国成立半个世纪以来，我国各个门类的翻译工作，都取得了令人瞩目的成绩。对外开放的进一步发展，势必要向翻译工作提出更多更高的要求，而我国翻译工作的现状，却存在着诸多令人忧虑的问题，主要表现在：（一）
