As neoliberalism has taken the dominant position globally, the concept of the Dalit class is no longer applicable at this time, and needs to be replaced by the term “unprotected labor” created by Bourdieu. Then, this article further elaborates that the origins of the category of Dalit class are the key post-disciplines of cultural studies, post-colonialism and untreated research, and these latter disciplines are the product of the revolution in the West in 1968. In today’s era of global capitalism, the applicability of these disciplines is declining. Compared with the concept of the untouchable class, the concept of unprotected labor is broader, encompassing not only those who live on the margins of the world system, but also all those who attach to the formation of certain cultures, It is not primarily the economy’s main purpose or revenue. The literary criticism involved in this essay focuses on two works by Prometheo Levi’s Christ at Abelie and Amit Chowdhury’s Immortality.
