一、为什么在基础与墙身交接处要设置防潮层?埋藏在土壤中的水份叫地下水。地下水沿着土壤和材料中的孔隙缓缓上升,使基础以上墙身受潮的现象,就是我们常说的“毛细”现象。地下水通过“毛细”现象,可以使离地面1000~1500毫米高度的墙身受潮,造成室内灰皮脱落和室外砖墙碱化,影响室内卫生和结构耐久性。为了提高墙身的坚固和耐久性,一般要在基础墙的顶部设置防潮层。防潮层放在建筑物的什么位置十分重要。位置放得不对,就起不到应有的作用,一般是放在室内地坪下一皮砖处,即标高为-0.06米的墙身处。这个标高正好是在地面的混凝土垫层
