The joint evaluation team of the Ministry of Light Industry and the Shanghai Municipal Corporation conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the product quality, material energy consumption management, economic benefits and safety production of the Shanghai Furniture Factory from November 27 to 30, 1987. On November 30th, at the State-level Enterprise Review Conference of the Ministry of Light Industry, the evaluation team announced that: Shanghai Furniture Factory’s 18 evaluation indicators are in line with the requirements of the State and Ministry of Light Industry for upgrading, and agreed that the factory passed the evaluation of the second-tier companies.
