二十世纪九十年代以来,有关电视传播中究竟是以画面为主、还是以声音为主的争论,一直在电视理论圈中持续。其中,一些电视工作者明显承接了以往电影理论中的某些理念,认为“画面和环境音响”具有无可比拟的优势;而另一派理论工作者则坚持“电视不是电影的妹妹,而是广播的弟弟,电视主要不是艺术欣赏工具,而是社会信息传播工具,因此语言比画面更重要”。这种争议,容易让人想起“究竟是先有鸡、还是先有蛋”这样古老的议题。而欲得出比较切合实际的结论,也只有跳出“鸡、蛋之争”从更现实的角度重新思考这一课题。(一)把画面、声音两个系统割裂开的
