这种硬岩钻机是美国特伦德国际股份有限公司(Tround International Inc)经多年研制和试验的最新产品。它有一根能发射陶瓷抛射体的三管喷枪,用来破碎原岩。在普通钻机上接好这种喷枪后,能以较高的速度钻进硬岩,而且可以减少钻头的磨损。此钻机可用于钻进油井、气井、地热井和爆破孔。喷枪的三个喷管呈三角形布置,一次可发射三个陶瓷抛射体,弹箱可容纳供发射2000次用的抛射体,大约相当于能钻进1000～1500英尺的钻孔。
This hard rock drill rig is the latest product developed and tested by Tround International Inc. for many years. It has a three-barrel lance that emits a ceramic projectile to break the rock. After a good drill is attached to this type of drill, drilling hard rock can be drilled at a higher speed and wear on the drill bit can be reduced. This rig can be used to drill wells, gas wells, geothermal wells and blast holes. The three lances of the lance have a triangular arrangement with three ceramic projectiles fired at a time. The launcher can accommodate projectiles for 2000 launches, roughly the same amount of boreholes that can drill 1,000 to 1,500 feet.
