OCLC published The Evolving Academic Record, which provides a framework for organizing and facilitating discussion of evolving academic records. The framework provides a high-level view of the categories of data that an academic record may contain, as well as key participant roles in creating, managing, and using academic records. (1) Highlights of the Report: The convergence of a number of trends is accelerating the shift in the content of academic records and the role of stakeholders. Academic achievements are being reshaped by all kinds of resources generated from academic research and its subsequent application.
