In the belated “Humanistic Touch” exhibition site at Beijing Droog Design Exhibition Center in Beijing, I once again saw the lace umbrella created by Chris Kabel. That moment stirred my first sight of it - on the periphery of the Milan Furniture Fair in 2006, as I walked through the bars of the TRUSSARDI Milan flagship, down the stairs to the second floor The first jumped into my eyes is this lace umbrella. Light through the lace under the umbrella to create a soft light and shadow, exposure to umbrella, two days to see the exhibition’s fatigue seems to have been quietly filtered. The appearances on the Beijing show are a bit simpler, stand alone in the dark corner, a spotlight projecting from above, playing a mottled “leaf” shadow, people can not imagine 4 years ago it in Lille city How amazing the square appearance.
