INTRODUCTION According to IS014577-1: 2002 “Measurement and Verification of Metallic Materials’ Hardness and Material Parameters% Part 1: Test Methods”, the hardness is divided into large hardness, microhardness and nanohardness according to the test force and indentation depth.
