今年初,辽宁大学党委认真学习了华主席、党中央对教育工作的一系列重要指示,联系本校实际,总结二十多年来学校教学工作正反两方面的经验,认识到恢复和发扬领导深入教学、领导教学的传统和作风,是提高教学质量的关键。党委决定由党委副书记董鸿书同志、副校长唐铎同志深入教学第一线,逐个系,逐个专业的进行调查研究。他们通过分别召开教师、学生座谈会,听取汇报,查看资料室、实验室、校办工厂,还多次在物理、历史、数学等系听课,广泛深入地了解教学中存在的问题。唐铎同志在文化大革命前曾亲自到物理系抓基础理论课的教学。这次,他来到物理系,白天和学生一道听课,晚间参加学生的自习和辅导。许多教师深有感触地说:“十三年前唐副校长来我们这里(足屯)点,现在又深入下来抓教学,学校工作大有希望了!” Earlier this year, the party committee of Liaoning University has seriously studied a series of important instructions from President Hua and the Party Central Committee on education work. They held separate lectures for teachers and students, listened to reports, looked at data rooms, laboratories, and school-run factories, and attended lectures in the fields of physics, history, and mathematics for a wide range of in-depth understanding of the problems in teaching. Before the Cultural Revolution, Comrade Tang Hao personally went to the Department of Physics to teach basic theoretical courses. This time, he came to the physics department and joined the students during the day to attend classes and participate in student self-study and counseling in the evening. Many teachers said with deep feelings: “Thirteen years ago, Vice President Tang came to us here (foot tune), and now she has gone deeper down to grasp teaching. There is hope for school work!”
