Objective To investigate the clinical effect of glass fiber post combined with nanocomposite resin on the temporary transitional repair of young traumatic permanent anterior teeth in children. Methods From September 2004 to March 2008 in Hangzhou Dental Hospital, children with dental implants in 65 cases of 78 children with traumatic crown anterior root perfect root canal treatment and root canal therapy, the use of glass fiber post-repair directly with nano Composite resin repair shape as a transitional repair to 18 years of age, followed up for 3 years to observe the clinical repair effect. Results 3 months after the review, no fiber pile fracture, root fracture, root absorption. One case had root fracture due to secondary trauma in 6 months after operation. 24 months after the review, only 3 cases of surface coloring, no resin shedding, marginal leakage occasionally occurred, the treatment are satisfactory to patients. 36 months after surgery, no fiber peel off, root fracture. Conclusion The combination of glass fiber post and nanocomposite resin for repairing traumatic anterior teeth in children is a successful and effective transitional repair method. It can avoid the direct resin repair or broken crown repeatedly shedding, but also reduce the risk of root fracture, to maximize the retention of tooth tissue.
