胰岛素样生长Ⅰ(insulin-like growth faetorⅠ,IGF-Ⅰ)是一类具有广泛生物学功能的细胞因子,可促进细胞增殖、分化,抑制凋亡。IGF-Ⅰ对神经细胞、成骨细胞等的增殖分化起调节作用,在中枢神经系统的生长发育和骨的形成方面具有重要的生物学作用。IGF-Ⅰ能促进神经元的生长和增值。IGF-I具有胰岛素样的生物学活性促进大脑的合成代谢,促进少突胶质细胞的增殖、生长、发育,突触形成,促进大脑髓鞘形成,对婴儿早期脑生长发育的具有重要影响。IGF-Ⅰ也能促进骺软骨细胞分化和再生,是促进骨形成的重要激素,能有效地促进骨合成代谢和生长,IGF-Ⅰ水平的下降会引起骨密度的减低。
