本文针对八盘峡水电厂1~#机组钢筋混凝土蜗壳的结构设计及运行中产生裂缝的情况,探讨了把平面有限元法及按轴对称问题处理的有限元法用于解决蜗壳应力分析的可能性、可靠性及实用性。对原设计成果采用结构力学方法的合理性作了分析。
