口头传承的特殊性导致了《亚鲁王》直到21世纪的今天才进入学界视野。《亚鲁王》是一部苗族口传英雄史诗。它唱诵了苗族西部方言区先民在亚鲁王的率领下,迁徙、征战,并一步步溃退到生存环境特别恶劣的麻山地区之艰辛历程。史诗融进了苗人的创世神话,并将二者奇妙地融合。在亚鲁王身上,体现了苗人由崇拜神灵到崇尚自身的升华。经过调查,在麻山之外流传至今的,仅仅是一个关于亚鲁王的民间口头传说。在那些地区《亚鲁王》的传承链更加脆弱,濒临消亡。
The particularity of oral tradition led to the fact that King Yarlung did not enter the academic field until the 21st century. The King of Yalu is an epic of Miao’s heroes. It recited the hard journey of the ancestors of the Miao dialect western region under the leadership of King Yarlung, migration, expedition and step by step retreat to the Ma Shan area where the living environment is particularly harsh. Epic melts into Miao people’s creation myth, and the two marvelously blend. In Yalu Wang body, reflects the Miao people worship the gods to advocate their own sublimation. After investigation, spread outside of Ma Hill to the present, is just a folk oral legend about the king of Alu. In those areas, the chain of the king of Yarlung is more vulnerable and is on the verge of extinction.
