有个人去寺庙卖木梳,和尚说:“你卖木梳找错地方了,我们头上无发,要木梳何用?”卖木梳的人说:“你们用不着,可每天上你们寺庙烧香拜佛的人不少,他们有些人头发散乱,进庙堂有失大雅,如果在进香前每人都能把自己的头发梳理一下,再进寺院烧香,岂不更显得对佛至高无上的崇敬和一片诚心,对寺院对您都是一种荣光。”和尚觉得此话有理,就买下了10把木梳。
There are individuals who go to the temple to sell wooden combs. The monk said: “You sold wooden combs to find the wrong place. We have no hair on our heads, what is the use of wooden combs?” “People who sell wooden combs say:” You do not need it. There are a lot of people who burn incense and pray in your temple every day. Some of them are scattered with their hair and have a bad taste in the temple. If everybody in the temple can comb their hair before entering the temple, does it not appear more to the highest in the world? Reverence and sincerity, to the temple is a glory to you. "Monk think this is reasonable, they bought 10 wood combs.
