清杂剧《浮西施》以西施传说为题材,借杂剧体裁传达剧作家徐石麒对历史的反思与批判.《浮西施》语言风格通俗生动、质朴明快;全剧采用南北合套的音乐形式强化戏剧冲突;结局打破传统戏曲“大团圆”的模式,范蠡沉西施于太湖,独特的结局设置与徐石麒自身经历和创作背景密切相关.
