1959年四川西昌市北门外的古代火葬墓中出土铜镜2件。墓葬已被破坏,经了解,铜镜出土于火葬墓的陶骨灰罐中。龙纹镜直径8.5厘米。圆纽,纽外两条龙首尾相接,间有卷草纹。其外有弦纹两周。宽平缘(图一)。出土时镜面周围还可见用朱色绘制的八卦符号。 “正其衣冠”镜直径9.3厘米。圆纽,纽两侧铸有铭文,为:“正其衣冠,尊其瞻视。”其外有弦纹一周。窄缘(图二)。根据这两件铜镜的形制、纹饰,应属南诏大理时期的遗物。
