The 1st National Young Compilation Academic Symposium organized by the Research Association of China’s University Journals (Natural Science Edition) was held in Xi’an from October 13 to 18, 1988. A total of 102 young editorial representatives from 94 colleges and universities in 24 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions nationwide participated in the conference.
