2001年9月4～6日在北京,由全国政协人口资源环境委员会、全国政协外事委员会、中国国家环境保护总局、中国国家林业局共同组办了“21世纪论坛——绿色与环保′2001”专题论坛会议。来自世界各国或组织的知名专家学者参加了会议,一起探讨了人类共同关心的生态建设与环境保护领域的重大现实性问题。这里我们选刊了几位国际组织代表的讲稿,了解一下他们是如何评价和建议中国的环境保护与林业建设事业的,以从另一个角度对我国的林业与环境政策制定有所启迪。
From September 4 to September 6, 2001 in Beijing, the CPPCC National Committee for Population, Resources and Environment, CPPCC Foreign Affairs Committee, China State Environmental Protection Administration and China’s State Forestry Administration jointly organized the “Forum on 21st Century - Green and Environmental Protection 2001” Forum meeting. Well-known experts and scholars from all countries and organizations in the world attended the meeting and jointly discussed the major practical issues concerning ecological construction and environmental protection that are of common concern to mankind. Here we have selected the speeches of several representatives of international organizations to understand how they evaluated and suggested China’s environmental protection and forestry construction so as to give some enlightenment to our country’s forestry and environmental policy formulation.
