H.264/AVC采用空间域上的帧内预测技术,进一步提高了编码效率,但由于帧内预测模式数目较多,使预测的复杂度大幅度增加。本文分析了帧内预测模式的选择过程,根据SATD(Sum of Absolute Transformed Difference)以及相邻块的预测模式之间的相关性等特征提出一种快速预测方法,预先筛选出Intra_4×4候选模式,避免不必要的计算。实验结果显示,该算法大幅度降低运算的复杂度,同时基本保持了H.264/AVC的编码性能。
H.264 / AVC uses intra-frame prediction in the spatial domain to further improve the coding efficiency. However, due to the large number of intra prediction modes, the complexity of prediction greatly increases. This paper analyzes the selection process of intra prediction modes, proposes a fast prediction method based on the Sum of Absolute Transformed Difference (SATD) and the correlation between adjacent blocks and predicts the intra_4 × 4 candidate mode, Avoid unnecessary calculations. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can greatly reduce the computational complexity and at the same time maintain the coding performance of H.264 / AVC.
