The non-ecological nature of modern urban architecture hinders the connection between man and nature, man and society, and man and history. As an emerging architectural form, the ecological value of recycled buildings can make up for the shortcomings of modern urban architecture: improving the natural environment of the city by saving the resources needed for construction and reducing the emission of construction waste; and by integrating different social fields and building Public space to promote interpersonal interaction; to maintain the city’s historical memory by maintaining the city’s cultural traditions. As a kind of urban landscape, the regenerative architecture transmits the multi-dimensional ecological concept to people through the mandatory, experiential, and lasting landscape communication. Beijing 798 Art Center is a typical regenerative building in China. Analyzing its ecological concept in landscape communication can provide reference for the sustainable development of Chinese cities.
