在工业中经常会遇到各种刀具、钢筋、管子、管道等的对接焊。对于一般尺寸的工件,最合理的方法是接触焊,目前我国对于截面积在1000毫米~2左右的刀具、锅炉管子、石油钻管等已经大量采用了闪光对焊。但是在许多情况下,由于工件尺寸相当大,需要控制复杂的大功率的接触焊设备,而这种对焊机目前我国为数不多,不能完全满足工业的需要。接触电渣焊无论在设备结构、电源功率、生产效率.焊接质量、应用范围等方面都具有很大的价值,所需电功率仅为接触对焊的10~20%,不需要巨大的压力,生产率不亚于接触对焊,焊接质量可靠,尤其对焊不同金属材料和高合金钢时比其他对焊法都有利。为此,我们对这项课题进行了一系列研究。
