Chongqing is an important area for production of chili peppers and condiments. Processing peppers is a characteristic crop in the mountainous areas of Chongqing, Chongqing is also an important industrial raw materials for the 10 billion-industry chain of “agriculture industry”. Recently, two processing-purpose peppers new combinations N1434 (Yan-jiao 434) and N1419 (Yan-pei 435) bred by the Institute of Vegetables and Flowers of Chongqing Academy of Agricultural Sciences have passed the expert field organized by the Chongqing Non-main Crop Variety Approval Committee Identification. Through field visits Chongqing Academy of Agricultural Sciences
