November 6 this year is the 90th anniversary of the death of the great proletarian singer Areny Bordeaux, member of the Paris Commune, and wishes to translate each of his first and last verses to commemorate the anniversary. The poem “The Last Hope” was made in 1831 by Bowie Dee’s debut. In 1830, a November uprising against the overlord of tsarist Russia broke out in Warsaw, the capital of the Kingdom of Poland under Russian tsar. Although the bloody fiasco finally failed, the people of the uprising wrote a glorious page in which the people of a small country dared to resist the hegemony of the great powers. In the poem, the 15-year-old Bowie De Biere sent deep sympathy to the Polish people for national independence and deplored the hegemonic behavior of Tsarist Russia. “Great collapse” as the poet’s old age. Through the vivid portrayal of the economic crisis of capitalism, this poem points out that the capitalist system must collapse and the sacred cause of labor liberation inevitably triumphs.
