Currently, many construction companies have begun to use this concept to reduce their own responsibilities and costs, so that they are more competitive in the construction market. Although the principles of safety management are conceptually simple, construction companies may encounter the biggest hurdle for them in the implementation process. In fact, workers are usually the most important aspects of safety management and they are also the main beneficiaries of improving on-site safety conditions. Safety management is a dynamic process that takes place in a constantly changing state. Therefore, the process must be constantly monitored and adjusted to achieve the desired goals. This article discusses a safety management methodology for small and medium-sized projects in the Northwest of the United States that focuses on a few issues that arise from the implementation of the method and on how to deal with them
