冲天炉是铸铁熔炼的主要设备,冲天炉熔炼技术水平与铸件质量有密切的联系。过去,我们曾以焦铁比作为考核冲天炉的主要指标,而忽视了铁水温度、铁水质量和能源消耗等重要的技术内容,以致未能正确地评价冲天炉的技术质量水平,使对冲天炉的操作和控制带有一定的盲目性,造成铸件质量低,能耗大,经济效益差。那么怎样才能合理地对冲天炉全面的技术指标都给予定量评价呢?通过在湖北省1983~1984年度举行的全省首届冲天炉熔炼技术质量竞赛中,对39座各种类型冲天炉的考核实践证明,这是一种比较科学的评价冲天炉水平高低的办法。冲天炉熔炼技术质量的考核内容为十六项,涉及熔炼技术、铁水质量、能源消耗和文明生产等,总分为100分。
