钛白粉是目前制造电焊条的主要原料之一,国內产量不多,大部分依靠进口,这不但增加了外汇支出,同时也常因供应不及而影响生产。上海市电焊工业公司去年第四季开始,利用国产钛鉄矿代替钛白粉試制焊条,产品經过初步鉴定,完全符合42型規格的要求。現在此种焊条已由上海熔新电焊材料厂正式大量生产。由于采用了钛铁矿的新配方,不但解决了钛白粉供应上的困难,并可降低成本30％以上。
Titanium dioxide is currently one of the main raw materials for the manufacture of welding electrodes. Due to its small domestic output, most of the titanium dioxide is imported. This not only increases the foreign exchange expenditures, but also often affects the production due to insufficient supply. Shanghai Welding Industry Company started the fourth quarter of last year, the use of domestic titanium dioxide instead of titanium dioxide trial welding rod, the product after preliminary identification, in full compliance with the requirements of 42 specifications. Now this kind of electrode has been formally mass-produced by Shanghai Rongxin Welding Material Factory. As a result of the ilmenite new formula, not only solved the titanium dioxide supply difficulties, and can reduce costs over 30%.
