Wang Zhengting (1882-1961) was a famous social activist in modern China. Since the beginning of the Republic of China, he has successively served as vice chairman of the Senate of the Provisional Government of Nanjing, deputy director of the Beiyang government’s Ministry of Industry and Commerce, acting chief of general counsel, and acting as the premier of the cabinet. After the founding of the Nanjing National Government in 1927, he served for a long time as foreign minister, president of the Chinese Red Cross Society, and ambassador to the United States.
