Objective To observe and study the prevention of constipation by rhubarb umbilicus to improve the survival rate of replantation of severed fingers. Methods From July 2013 to July 2015 in our hospital for replantation surgery in line with the conditions of this study selected 40 patients, according to admission sequence, stratified male and female were randomly divided into experimental group and control group, 20 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine nursing, while the rhubarb prevention group was treated with rhubarb umbilical cord nursing. The postoperative constipation rate, the first defecation time, the incidence of vascular crisis and the survival rate of replantation were compared between the two groups after operation. The patients undergoing replantation of the severed finger were treated with rhubarb and umbilicus The clinical effect of preventing constipation affecting the survival rate of severed finger replantation. Results There were no significant differences in the number of cases, sex composition, index of disconnection, classification of finger injuries, degree of disconnection, number of broken fingers and preservation of severed fingers in both groups (P> 0.05). The percentage of patients with constipation in the rhubarb prevention group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P <0.05). The incidence of constipation was 75% in the control group and 45% in the rhubarb prevention group after replantation. The incidence of vascular crisis in rhubarb prevention group was significantly higher than that in control group (P <0.05). The survival rate of broken fingers in rhubarb prevention group was 91.667%, which was significantly different from that in control group (P <0.05). Conclusion Rhubarb Umbilical cord replantation of severed fingers in patients with constipation has some relief, and thus can improve the survival rate of replantation of severed fingers.
