Since the beginning of oil production 30 years ago, Oman’s Yibal oilfield has undergone continuous development in terms of development. Initially oilfield development was carried out with a vertical well, which later progressed to horizontal drilling from the ground and finally lateral horizontal drilling from a flooded vertical production well.
