In order to clarify the impact of noise pollution on workplaces and living facilities in the port area, it is necessary to provide necessary and scientific reference data for further improvement of working conditions and treatment of noise sources and for evaluation of environmental noise during the construction of new wharves and operating areas . We carried out a wide range of measurement and analysis on the status quo of noise pollution in the loading and unloading operations area that Shanghai Port belongs to. Our investigation focuses on the existing noise sources in Hong Kong, namely the loading and unloading operations in the port area and the power machinery and equipment on the logistic line.
