The 2011 edition of “Chinese Curriculum Standards” states that “we should attach importance to the connection between writing teaching and reading teaching and oral communication teaching, be good at combining reading and writing, speaking and writing, and promote each other.” Mr. Ye Shengtao pointed out clearly that “Chinese teaching materials are nothing more than examples, and by this example, students should be able to learn from all possible sources and acquire proficiency in reading and writing.” Using this paradigm of teaching materials has undoubtedly been an effective way to enhance students’ writing ability.
