Primary adenocarcinoma of the fallo pian tube is a rare disease, and cerebral metastasis fr om this tumor is an ex-tremely rare event.A 61-year -old fe male, who had been thought to be in a disease -free s tate after the initial treatment for stage IIIc fallopian t ube adenocarcinoma, presented with severe headache, diz ziness, nausea, and vomiting.Brain CT and MRI revealed s olitary metastatic lesion in the cerebrum, which was the only site of recur-rence.It was removed surgically,fo llowed by platinum -based combination chemotherapy,an d a clinical remission was achieved for 36months.Attentio n should be paid to the possibility of cerebralmetasta sis in patients who develop neurogenic signs and symptoms.Prolonged survival could be achieved with aggressive treatme nt containing surgical debulking and adjuvant chemotherap y for solitary cere-bralmetastasis.
