据全国人口普查资料显示,少数民族地区以及少数民族人口的城市化进程正在日益加快并呈现出诸多鲜明的特点。少数民族人口城市化进程正在深刻地影响着城市民族关系,既为构建和谐民族关系提供了良好契机,又给民族关系稳定带来了挑战。总体而言,城市化进程对民族关系的影响是机遇大于挑战,利用城市化进程所带来的社会结构变迁对民族关系进行调适应该成为一项战略选择。
According to the national census data, urbanization in ethnic minority areas and ethnic minorities is accelerating and showing many distinctive features. The process of urbanization of ethnic minorities is profoundly affecting the ethnic relations in cities. It not only provides a good opportunity for building harmonious ethnic relations, but also brings challenges to the stability of ethnic relations. In general, the impact of urbanization on ethnic relations is that opportunities are greater than challenges and the adjustment of ethnic relations by utilizing the social structural changes brought about by the process of urbanization should become a strategic choice.
