随着全球化程度不断加深,互联网逐渐普及,外国影视剧作大量涌入中国市场,发展成为人们生活中的一部分。这就使得影视字幕翻译尤为重要。如今译制片手中的数量远远超过翻译文献作品受众的数量,影视翻译对社会的影响也决不在文学翻译之下,因此对其研究势在必行(钱绍昌61)。“目的论”作为德国功能学派翻译理论的核心,对于影视字幕翻译具有切实的指导意义。本文尝试从目的论角度对英文影片的字幕汉译进行研究。第一部分介绍了全文的理论基础,即德国功能派翻译目的论;第二部分主要讨论影视字幕的特点和功能;第三部分根据影视字幕的特点提出了相应的翻译策略原则,从而有助于产出更多的高质量影视字幕翻译作品,更好地促进文化之间的传播与交流。
As the degree of globalization deepens and the Internet becomes more and more popular, foreign films and TV dramas flood into the Chinese market and develop into a part of people’s lives. This makes the subtitle translation is particularly important. The number of translators now far outweighs the number of audience members who translate works of literature and literature. The impact of translating television programs on the society is never translated into literature. Therefore, it is imperative to study it (Qian, Shaochan 61). As the core of German functionalist translation theory, Skopostheorie has practical guiding significance for the translation of subtitles. This article attempts to study the subtitle translation of English films from a teleological perspective. The first part introduces the theoretical foundation of the full text, that is, the German functionalist translator’s teleology; the second part mainly discusses the features and functions of the movie subtitle; the third part proposes the corresponding translation strategy principle according to the subtitle of movie and television, More high-quality film and television subtitle translation works to better promote the dissemination and exchange of culture.
