根据采自辽宁省北票市四合屯义县组下部的一乌臀类恐龙新材料的形态学特征，鉴定其为一鹦鹉嘴龙未定种，这是迄今为止产出层位最低的鹦鹉嘴龙材料．鹦鹉嘴龙材料在义县组的发现，对于确定义县组的时代具有一定的意义．
According to the morphological characteristics of a new type of dinosaur dinosaur collected from the lower part of Sihetun Yixian Formation in Beipiao City, Liaoning Province, it was identified as an undetermined species of the psittacosis, which is by far the lowest parrot level Dragon material. The discovery of the psittacosaurus material in the Yixian Formation has some significance for defining the age of the Yixian Formation.
