低保档案是伴随着低保制度的建立和实施而产生和形成的。广义上,是建立和实施低保制度过程中形成的各种有价值的文件材料的总称;狭义上,主要指街道办事处、镇人民政府在接受低保申请、进行调查、公示、审批、复核低保待遇过程中形成的、具有保存价值的文件材料。低保档案作为低保工作持续发展的基础,在实践中的重要作用日益凸显。本文重点探讨狭义上低保档案的管理。
